AJCE Activities

AJCE participates in the GAM of FIDIC and FIDIC Member Associations in the Asia and Pacific Region Conference (ASPAC) activities as the representative of Japanese CEs, and promotes the international exchange with CEs of other countries. AJCE also maitains contact with international organizations including the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank, and the United Nations, and various national agencies or organizations.

AJCE collects from such institutions current information related to CE activities and overseas contractual standards, and publishes their Japanese versions.
As the sole Japanese sales agency, the AJCE offers to various circles numerous important publications of FIDIC as the international contractual standards.

AJCE carries out activities that enhance the professional capability of CEs and improve the linkage between CEs and other professional fields. For the purpose of enlarging business, the latest information and data on CE activities around the world is made available through lectures given and seminars held by AJCE, as well as through the "AJCE Bulletin" and "Newsletter" published by AJCE and disseminated inside and outside of Japan.

AJCE's one of the biggest activity is annual exchange program of young engineers between Australia and Japan (called "Young Professional Exchange Program (YPEP)" ) , started in 1996 as a result of a Memoraudum of Understanding signed between AJCE and ACEA in October 1995.
